Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This policy explains how the Soccer Max app ("Soccer Max", "we", "us") handles information when you use the app and this website. Questions? Email support@soccermax.app.
Without an account
Your onboarding answers (name, age range, position, level, goals), your sessions, sets and minutes, your streak, level and stats, and your profile photo are saved on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. Usage analytics and purchases (below) still apply.
If you sign in with Apple
Signing in is optional. It's used to make or join a team, use a code, and back up your progress. Once you're signed in, we store:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Your Apple sign-in ID (and email, only if Apple shares it — you can hide it) | To keep your account |
| A backup of your progress: onboarding answers (name, age range, position, level, goals), sessions, training log, streak, level, settings and a small profile picture | So everything comes back if you delete the app and sign in again |
| Your name, position and small profile picture | So teammates know who you are |
| Your streak, minutes trained this week and last active time | For the team streak and leaderboards |
| Team name, logo and code; chat messages (text only) and activity posts | To run the team chat and feed |
| Reports you send, people you block, codes you use and free weeks you've had | To keep chat safe and to give each free offer only once |
Chat and activity older than 60 days are deleted automatically. We don't upload photos or videos of you training.
Launch email list (website)
If you leave your email on soccermax.app before the app is out, we store that email, the page you signed up on and your country (from your IP address), and make a one-use 40% off code for you. We use your email only to send you that code when Soccer Max launches. We never sell it or use it for anything else. The list is for people aged 13 and up. To be taken off it, email support@soccermax.app.
Usage analytics
To learn which features help players keep training, the app and this website send usage events to PostHog — things like "opened the app", "finished a session", "started a trial" or "bought yearly", plus crash reports, your device model, iOS version, app version and a rough location (country/region) worked out from your IP address. They also include your multiple-choice onboarding picks (like where you found us, your level and your goal), which app you sent a share to, and the reason if you report a message. Before you sign in, events use a random ID. After you sign in, they're linked to your Soccer Max account ID (never your name, email or Apple ID), so we can see how players use the app over time. Events never include your photos or chat messages. The website uses no cookies for this.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are paid through Apple. We never see your payment details. RevenueCat checks your purchases with Apple and tells the app whether you have access; it keeps your purchase history (which plan, when, price) under a random ID, or your Soccer Max account ID once you sign in, so your plan follows your account.
Services we use
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases. See Apple's privacy policy.
- Supabase — hosts our server: accounts, backups, teams and the launch email list (described above).
- RevenueCat — checks purchases and keeps purchase history (described above).
- PostHog — usage analytics and crash reports (described above), hosted in the US.
- Hat Trick Local — when you search for your club, the words you type are sent to their club search.
- API-Football (api-sports.io) — club crests and player pictures in Matchday load from their image server.
Like any website, these services can see your device's IP address when the app connects to them.
What we don't do
- No ads, no ad tracking, no selling or renting your data.
- No sharing your data with data brokers or advertisers.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
Kids
Soccer Max is for players aged 13 and up. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
Your choices and deleting your data
- Leave a team at any time from the team page.
- Delete your account in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. This deletes your account, backup and team data on our server right away.
- Delete everything stored on your phone by deleting the app.
- Or email support@soccermax.app and we'll delete your account within 30 days.
- You can also stop using Sign in with Apple for Soccer Max in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data. Email us and we'll help.
Security
Your data is sent over encrypted connections and protected so each player can only change their own data.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will also be shown in the app.
